Evergreen's Origin Story
Evergreen Landscaping and Irrigation llc, the reputable business we recognize today, was established in 1979. The founder, Charles "Bing" Cherry, initially worked at the local country club, where he assisted in installing an automated sprinkler system. This experience sparked Bing's passion, leading him to realize he could turn this interest into a successful business. Thus, Evergreen Landscaping and Irrigation Company was founded.
Fast forward to 2018: Yellowstone Environmental Contracting llc (YEC), led by managing owner Zac Mader, acquired Evergreen Landscaping. And continues to focus on sustaining the business growth, community support, and family-like atmosphere that form the foundation of this business.
Dedicated to success and service
For the first 15 years he focused solely on automated sprinkler systems, building a trustworthy local business in Miles City, and eventually all over southeastern Montana.
As Bing spent more time in this industry, he decided in order for his company to grow, he needed more to offer. He started working with other landscapers and gained the experience needed to start providing this service on his own.

After 40 years of dedicated work, Bing sold Evergreen Landscaping and Irrigation llc and has been enjoying a well-earned retirement. It is our mission to continue the growth, community support and family-like atmosphere that is the foundation of this company.
